After Monday's Walk 100 Miles with the Mayor journal entry, we decided to set forth a course of action to reach the 100 Mile goal. Actually, there will be two options - first, walking greenways and second, walking trails.
We compiled a list of the greenways we had walked, run, or biked and found that the total travel distance for the greenways was over 100 miles. It should be said that most of the greenways are linear, so the routes involved walking out and back.
With the list of greenways we included the mileage, path name, park or greenway section, and links. The links are to Metro to Mountain Trip Reports of our visit, cloudhiking maps, and cloudhiking guides to the areas. We have not written guides to all the areas, but we did visit (or regularly visit) the areas. If you have any questions, we would be happy to help.
There are 11 weekends remaining in the year (2012) ... I wonder if anyone could walk all of the paths before the years end? Not only would it be a challenge but it would also be a fun tour. If you attempt it, keep us posted.
