Fall Creek Falls

We went to Fall Creek Falls State Park, TN, for the weekend. Yesterday as a National Trails Day service project we cleared trash from the Park. It was a good chore that needed to be done.

Then last night we had a cookout. Several friends were there and we were treated to chilli and music from the Shoemakers. The vegetarian chilli was some of the best that I have ever eaten and as always the music was wonderful. Thanks Paula, Nick, and Ed.

Today we spent the day helping at a rock climbing workshop. It was a good time; but we had to cancel the event a bit early because of a strong afternoon storm. The winds were incredible. We saw several trees knocked down or split.

It was a good weekend. We met some new friends, got to climb a bit, and just had a good time.
