playing worst case Scenario

Paul and Nancy Playing Worst Case Scenario...

Happy New Year

Ringing in the New Year last night, we had the traditional party for a few of our close friends. It was a good time. Good games, good food, and good company.

Laura was still the star of the game Apples to Apples. I don't understand it. It's like she had some kind of insider's knowledge (after all it was her game); but, there is absolutely no way to have a game owners advantage. In the game you guess which card someone will pick to match a topic card. I just don't understand how her cards are chosen more than others.

Other games played were Camp and Worst Case Scenario. Shocker. Our friends are outdoor folks with outdoor interests. The games were competitive.

Amy even stayed awake until midnight! Pretty amazing.

Happy New Year.

A few Statistics

We are getting ready to do the best of the year from Metro to Mountain and cloudhiking posts. While looking over the sites, I took over 4200 pictures (Amy took a bunch also) and posted 156 Journal entries. Scree posts were harder to determine but there were a lot. There were well over 400 posts. Some Scree posts were mere sentences and others were page long dissertations. In cloudhiking we completed 15 Trail Guides, 6 Metro (path) Guides, and 26 maps created or updated.

It has been a busy year; but we hope to do even more in the coming year.
