Hollowell Park

Just beyond the Trailhead

I have to keep today's entry short. The other day I hiked from Hollowell Park Trailhead to Lake Bierstadt and back. It was a great hike and I finished just in time to avoid any problems with the weather.

One hiker I met was just starting as I was finishing me. She assured me that she had her raincoat and would be okay. The expected afternoon shower turned into a significant weather event. I hope she had a really good raincoat and a good attitude! She needed both.

My hike was just under 8 miles; but it was mostly on an even grade. Here are a few pictures that captured my day.
