The AT in less than Five Minutes!
A thru-hiker, Kevin Gallagher hiked and captured images of his journey on the Appalachian Trail. The images were linked to form a video of his trip.
Having hiked a few hundred miles of the trail I was able to pick out certain landmarks on the video. I am sure that AT hikers would be able to name even more; but most of the feature is true to it's name and has images of the green tunnel. The video is a fun adventure. Enjoy.
Jaywalking!?!
A pedestrian was hit and hurt crossing Cumberland Ave (the Strip) last Friday. I hope that the walker is okay and will fully recover; but the comments from the article posted in the Knoxville paper are crazy.
Please, practice civility and watch out for the other guy. Human life is precious, even jaywalkers.
