America's Great Outdoor Report
Last fall I went to a listening session in Nashville for America's Great Outdoor program. There was a collection of people at the meetings, all with passionate interests in the outdoors though very diverse ideas on what makes the outdoors great.
The program has finally been presented to the Nation. It is important that Americans get Outside and experience the Great Outdoors.
We plan to take the President on his word and visit Great Smoky Mountain National Park this weekend. It should be fun.
Hopefully, we will be visiting this site and idea often. Please stay tuned!
Birthday Bash
Jon, Robin, and Ivan all celebrated their birthdays on Thursday and we celebrated with them on Friday. Ivan (six) proceeded to beat me in a "Don't Feed the Bears" game. It was great seeing everyone and kicking around outdoor plans.
