Fall Creek Falls Rock Climbing

Fall Creek Falls Rock Climbing Workshop

This is the first cool weekend of the Fall and is the Rock Climbing Workshop at Fall Creek Falls State Park. I can't wait to be camping, running, and playing in the Fall air.

The Rock Climbing Workshop is a program by the Tennessee State Parks. Ranger Ray is large and in charge! Come join us.

Kaylee

Speaking of Ranger Ray, he told me a story the other day. His kindergarten age daughter was in the front yard with him and they were looking at acorns. She wanted to know what the acorn tasted like, so Ray cracked a few open.

One acorn had a small grub type worm inside. Kaylee wanted to keep the worm. Pleading she said, "Well worms eat dirt and leaves and we've got that covered!"

Oh, she thought the acorn was too bitter.

Snow

Ah, there is snow in the Smokies.

Infant Falls

In France an infant fell seven floors from an apartment onto an awning and then bouncing into the arms of a passerby. The baby was unhurt.
