Metro to Mountain Journal

The Metro to Mountain Blog begins.

I can’t believe I have never tried to blog before. I always believed that blogging takes a certain commitment which I have never been able to make due to work and other time constrains. At best I would only have been a sporadic blogger. Oh, I am sure I would have tried to write a few days consecutively, but the flesh is weak and the days playing would soon outweigh the days of blogs. I didn’t want to be a floppy blogger.

By the way, has anyone ever seen someone who has the blogs? It seems to be a scary thought.

The "metro to mountain blog" is traveling from the sidewalks of town to the trails of the peaks and all of the terrain in between. But since most of the the blog will be written from my home in Nashville, Tennessee; the fodder for the blog comes from dreams and experiences. Cloud hiking leads me to memories of my past and dreams of future travels in places other than the metro. I enjoy hiking, biking, and running in the city, but I long for trips to the mountains.
